I think it is a BUG. Re-insert USB3.0 in running state, USB device is not recognized
what do you mean by not recognized? you cannot see its device node in /dev/sdaX? Or its just not get mounted? I don't have any issue with usb devices.

I had the same problem, the disk worked only on usb 2.0, today this disk died and, accordingly, the problem was in the disk itself. I recommend checking it out.
The usb3.0 mobile hard disk is inserted without any information, and the usb3.0 U disk is inserted with only "usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using xhci-mtk". However, it is strange that if a USB flash drive or removable hard disk is restarted, it can be recognized.
I tried @hammer method. But I don't have an android device and the iOS app just says when trying to setup the router to the account "All routers have been paired with other devices." and http://d.miwifi.com/rom/ssh doesn't work on a PC either.
Could somebody describe the flashing via serial? It seems it is more reliable and easy.

Hello from Argentina, I did all the steps as it is said, the r3G restart and I could never enter again, if you give me ip address 192.168.1.x but I rejected the connection by web and putty (ssh). the only thing that I found is that the files that download from openwrt, started with that name and not with "lede" as it is published. that is: Openwrt-ramips-mt7621-mir3g-squashfs-kernel1.bin
but the link is the published one.
Does anyone give any idea? Thank you
Did you only flash kernel1.bin?

Hi everyone,
Just got my MiWifi Router 3G. Tried the procedure to flash it with LEDE but I got stuck on enabling SSH access.
I've got the miwifi_ssh.bin file. Booted the router with reset button plugged in. The led was first yelow, then blinking yellow, yellow again and blue. It boots to the developer firmware (version 2.25.122) but I'm still not able to access the switch via ssh.
ssh root@192.168.31.1
ssh: connect to host 192.168.31.1 port 22: Connection refused
BTW On the usb drive I've found some additional directories and files created by the router (some with chineese characters).
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Did you release the reset button while the led flashes yellow?
