Today I noticed that https://dev.archive.openwrt.org/wiki/platforms is refering to openwrt.org for up-to-date information regarding platforms.
Since https://openwrt.org/docs/platforms/start didn't reflect what was on the dev-page, I imported the table, linked the targets to existing pages, and created developer pages similar to the ones on https://dev.archive.openwrt.org.
In order to re-use the information of the developers on other pages, I added dataentries to the developer pages, containing basically the same information as on the old developer pages, i.e. email, irc, website, targets/platforms.
This way we don't need to take care of adding a new developer to https://openwrt.org/about : Simply add a new developer at https://openwrt.org/developers/start and he will automatically show up on the about page, and also on the target pages (information re-use via dataentries/datatables).
- Old platforms page -> https://dev.archive.openwrt.org/wiki/platforms
-
New platforms page -> https://openwrt.org/docs/platforms/start
The information on the old and new platform pages seem quite old and could use an update. Who can help to update this page? - Developer pages (WIP) -> https://openwrt.org/developers/start
- Several pages need to be completed, e.g. email + IRC nick missing or targets missing -> to be done by the devs themselves
- pages in the
developer
namespace can only be edited by developers (or admins)
- Example target page: https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/targets/brcm47xx
