How about a permanent "roadmap" page? I think, many users would be interested in that and state of the art mature projects usually have one.

It does not even need a lot of content, its basically a userfriendly link collection of information that is already known from other pages, but currently burried somewhere in the wiki pile. So it does not cause reasonable maintenance.
A single aspect is important though: If created, such a page would need a permanent link in the side menu on the left side.
