Pre-compiled updated mwlwifi drivers for stable releases

17.01.2 (latest official stable) already includes the latest version of mwlwifi (10.3.4.0-20170606) and so do the latest snapshots.

Yep, but as new additions are committed to the driver, eduperez will compile and release them for the new stable release.

Yes, I was just browsing the version included in 17.01.2 (commit 36bc327), and I see that there are no relevant changes in mwlwifi's repository after that commit; as @hbr pointed out, latest official LEDE already incorporates latest mwlwifi firmware and driver.

I will upgrade my router and building environment tonight, so I can provide fresh packages for new versions as soon as they appear.

@eduperez
Thanks a bunch!

The issue is not present in McDebian. Don't think its driver related.

The major differences I can see between distributions would be statistics monitoring and perhaps kernel version.

New release for 17.01.2 available at https://github.com/eduperez/mwlwifi_LEDE/releases/tag/1cc8aa6: driver should now report TX/RX rate and signal properly.

@eduperez

Installs fine on my Mamba.

-Thanks

@eduperez

I only use these new ver(s) on my 1900ac

I don't test my 3200acm yet (the driver still needs lots of work)

Guys!
How are you?

Does it do the mu-mimo in 3200ACM or faster?

It does what the driver at the repo does:

@patrikx3
I have received a couple of private comments about the builds you posted here; nothing serious, I could answer them myself, but some people got confused about the origin of the files. Besides, your builds do not match the title of the thread, and some people could get confused about what are they downloading.

For the benefit of everyone, and to receive the credit and attention that your work deserves, I think you should move these posts to their own thread.
