Installing LEDE on Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H

Hello
I tried installing LEDE on Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H (dd-wrt installed by default) following the guide on this page
lede-project. org/docs/guide-quick-start/factory_installation
I downloaded the file (downloads .lede-project. org/releases/17.01.4/targets/ar71xx/generic/lede-17.01.4-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-g450h-squashfs-factory.bin) from this page
https://lede-project.org/toh/hwdata/buffalo/buffalo_wzr-hp-g450h_v1
and followed the factory installation guide.
unfortunately the update failed.
I then updated the router to the latest stock firmware from this page http://www.buffalotech.com/support/downloads/airstation-n450-dd-wrt-open-source
and it update successfully then tried to update it again to LEDE and it failed again.
I would also like to let you know that I have 3 of those routers ( 2 on stock firmware(v24-SP2 build 17140) & 1 updated to the latest provided update from buffalo (v24SP2-MULTI (09/27/12) std - build 20025)

what can I do next to install LEDE on my router.
and if there is any further information required to make troubleshooting this issue easier let me know.

Thank you.

P.S. I removed the known links because i am not allowed to post more than 2 links

squashfs_factory applies to flashing the Buffalo factory firmware, not DD-WRT.

Revert from DD-WRT to factory, then flash with LEDE.

thank you for your response.
The buffalo factory firmware is dd-wrt. i did not install dd-wrt, and buffalo documntion and even youtube official videos are on the same dd-wrt firmware that i have, e.g. https://youtu.be/e17wng2Mt8k
but from the firmware site there is another firmware from buffalo that is not dd-wrt.
i'll try to install it and get back to you.

Hi again
I changed the firmware from the buffalo branded dd-wrt to buffalo proprietary system and tried updating it to the squashfs_factory and it failed.

any further assistance is greatly appreciated, and if there is any further information required to make troubleshooting this issue easier let me know.

Thank you.

Try renaming the LEDE firmware to something shorter, like factory.bin, and try the Buffalo web GUI again.

Otherwise, use TFTP.
