Device wiki says LEDE is supported but can't find device on supported hardware list (RT-AC58U)

Great! It rather similar to my project - https://github.com/LEDE-RT-AC58U/LEDE_RT-AC58U
I would be happy if somebody else will release firmware for RT-AC58U on a regular basis. I will give up this project.
BTW Builds are not awailable.

I'm thinking about wading into the waters from stock firmware to OpenWRT, many thanks for @zyxmon and @ptpt52 firmware.

In older routers I have owned, the OpenWRT HW NAT performance wasn't as good as stock (Archer C7v2, DLink DIR860L B2), is this the case with this newer device? After all, this one is quad-core ARM v7.

I am interested in SQM QoS plus all the nice speed in the LuCI GUI. I notice the stock firmware GUI is very slow. Also, having good SSH access and very often sysupgrade is nice!

That firmware upload for Asus tftp, enjoy

FYI - RT-AC58U is supported since 18.06.0, and the ToH has been updated accordingly.
